Arriving by bus?

Travelling by bus is a great way to travel.  It's better for the environment and it's often better for you.  Letting someone else take care of the driving can be more relaxing and you'll suddenly see the countryside from a whole different perspective. From your elevated seat you'll be able to look right over the high dry stone walls and gain a panoramic view of this wonderful landscape.

Bus and coach links to the Dales are excellent with nearby towns such as Lancaster, Skipton, Leeds, Harrogate, York, Ripon, Northallerton and Darlington all being well served by National Express coaches and a range of local bus services.

Coaches also run from Heathrow and Manchester airports to Leeds coach station, with frequent buses on to Skipton, Ilkley, Harrogate and Ripon from the bus station next door.
